What is Cricketology? Up

Cricketology is a skill-based game that measures your cricket expertise where users make predictions relying on their knowledge and analysis of cricketing situations, based on science and logic.

Is the game free? Up

Registration is free and all portions of the site are free to access. To play the game, compete and win real prizes you need to EARN points, by taking our Cricketology lessons. If you think you’re an expert, create your FREE account now by clicking HERE.

Is Cricketology gambling? Up

No. Cricketology is a skill-based sports knowledge game where users/members can multiply their points by making correct predictions and go on to win real rewards. Cricketology does not promote gambling or sports betting in any manner.

How do I sign up for Cricketology? Up

It’s easy as picking up a bat. Click here to go to the Sign Up page. Enter your details in the respective fields, create your password and submit. Check your inbox for your password to enter your account and you're ready to start playing Cricketology. Now getting to use that bat like Sachin, is the real challenge.

Can I really win prizes? Up

At the end of each series, you can redeem prizes based on the points available as a balance in your account. Cricketology has a catalogue of prizes for each point range. You will be surprised with the things you can get. Check our redeem section for categories and products.

I just registered and logged-in for the first time. What next? Up

Well, you picked up the bat, now it's time to take strike! Use the Get Points link and add some points in your kitty. You can use a PIN/Voucher that you may have received as a promotion or against a Cricketology purchase to get points in your account. Once you have Points, you're ready to start playing.

What can I play on? Up

You can choose a particular match and fetch the questions for that match. Choose a particular question and make your pick/selection from the Options available and place your points in the box against that option. And hit PLAY! It's time to Score.

How do I know what to choose? Up

You know the teams, weather, pitch, conditions etc, so do you really need more help. Well, we've got a few experts to help you with their take on each match. We've even got a public PULSE graph that tracks other Cricketology plays for each question to give you an idea how each match is swinging. So what are you waiting for, make that PLAY.

Can I change my name? Up

You are free to change your name, password, secret question, image etc using the MY Profile link. Cricketology tracks its members only using their e-mail address and mobile number.

How do I change my email address? Up

This is something we do not allow, as we track our members and maintain their accounts through their e-mail address/mobile number. In the event that your Email is frozen by your provider etc. send us an e-mail from your new email address to support@cricketology.com. We will then take you through a complete verification program.

How do I change my password? Up

To change your password, click on the My Profile link on the left menu of your Home Page. Now choose a new password and enter it in the indicated field.

How do I change my image? Up

To change your image, click on the My Profile link on the left menu of your Home Page. Now browse through your computer and attach the image you want to use and hit submit. Remember, the image size must not exceed 30 KB

Are the Bonus Factors updated? Up

Bonus Factors are usually set a day before or on the night prior to a match. They can change again before the start of a match, in the event of injuries or other such incidents.

Who decides the Bonus Factors? Up

We have a team of Cricket experts who have followed and written about the game for decades. Their insights on every aspect of the game are taken and used for calculations by our Cricketology team. The Bonus Factors are meant to reflect the true balance that each match hangs on, at a point in time.

How do I win points? Up

You win points by choosing/predicting the correct option or outcome to a specific question related to a match. Any points that you win by making correct picks are added to your score when a match/event has ended. You can of course lose points too, if you make the wrong call!

Can I play using my mobile phone? Up

Yes. Once you've registered, you can play the game using your India mobile phone. You can use your internet account via your mobile phone and your mobile phone account via the website. Just remember to keep your web password handy.

So, is the game only for Indians? Up

Not really. The game is open to all, but you need to provide an Indian address for delivery of prizes. NRIs with an Indian address and foreigners resident in India are also eligible to play as long as they give a valid Indian address.

Can I play from anywhere? Up

Once you've registered, you can play from anywhere. With the Cricketology mobile offering, we want you to play even if you are on a train in Churchgate or a Bus to Bangalore. Unless, you have international roaming, we recommend using the site to play, when you are travelling abroad.

Do I have to play every match? Up

No. You can play as many matches as you wish. You get to choose. Play a little, play a lot. All that matters is if you can play sensibly and make enough points to win those goodies.

Do I have to pick for all questions? Up

No. The game is all about you, your time, your effort and your choices. You can play only one question or all. Only bothered about Win/Loss, then go for that alone. Think you're a real expert, then play the other questions.
